My light shows up on the website, but in the UI it refuses to connect. I've gone to the troubleshoot page and reset my wifi credentials. The visualight has stopped pulsing blue and turned white, but nothing else changes.

There could be two things: 1. An issue with the Visualight connecting to the server 2. An issue with the UI connecting to the server Issue 1: My Visualight connects and turns white but never changes colors The visualight needs to connect to the server using a network port that is sometimes blocked by a firewall. To test this visit this site from a browser: portquiz.net:5001/If you see something other than "You have reached this page on port 5001." The thats the issue. Fixing this issue can require reconfiguring your wifi router or contacting your internet provider to allow traffic on port 5001 Issue 2: This is caused by a web browser that does not support websockets. You can visit this page to test your broswer: jimbergman.net/websocket-web-browser-test/If this doesn't work then try using another browser, we use Google Chrome here and it works great. When you click "Settings" under your visualight name you should see this: Leif

I've been having somewhat of the same problem - with a few exceptions.
After the last process of reconnecting to my WiFi network, it changes my IP address to 1.2.3.14 (on my main WiFi network) and this is where the light goes solid white. To fix this I just changed my IP to a manual one instead of automatic, After I changed my IP (and was able to connect to the internet again) I tried connecting to 1.2.3.4 wherein the light began to flicker for a few seconds then went to solid Blue.
And that's where I am.
P.S. I've done all the tests and they came back positive.

Mike, When you setup or reset a visualight (join a visualight network) you will be assigned an IP address in the 1.2.3.XXX range. The allows your computer to send data directly to the visualight. Once the setup is completed you should be able to rejoin your original WiFi network and have an IP assigned by your router. Access 1.2.3.4 is only required to reset the Wifi network to which the visualight connects to. Leif I've been having somewhat of the same problem - with a few exceptions.
